Bring your family to Qwest Field on Saturday, June 18 from 10:00 - 2:00. There is no entry cost and parking is free for the day! It's all part of our commitment to educate Washington residents about a healthy lifestyle.


1st Choice Acupuncture
As the largest acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine clinic on the Eastside,1st Choice Acupuncture will be performing blood pressure screenings, body mass indexing (BMI), and Chinese pulse diagnosis to seek out underlying causes of health issues.


Abbott
Abbott Laboratories will provide free screenings attendees through US Wellness. The health screenings are done through a finger stick and cover the following components - TC, LDL-C, HDL-C, TG, Glucose, Blood Pressure, BMI and Framingham Risk.


Abrams Chiropractic Clinic
Dr. John Vang and Dr. Lee Phelps will be at the fair to provide information to fair attendees and provide chiropractic screenings.

Alzheimer's Association
A non-profit health organization providing education and resources for people living with dementia. The Alzheimer's Association will provide free educational materials for people dealing with dementia.


American Diabetes Association
In conjunction with Abbot Laboratories, the American Diabetes Association will be conducting Glucose screenings, Blood Pressure tests, plus BMI and Framingham Risk assessments. Come talk to experts about diabetic plate planners and pick up educational magazines and booklets for adults with diabetes.


American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide. AFSP works to prevent suicide by funding scientific research, providing education programs to health professionals and the public, promoting policies and legislation that help prevent suicides and promote mental health and provides programs and resources for survivors of suicide loss and those at risk.


American Lung Association
A long standing health non-profit organization focusing on lung health The American Lung Association will be offering a free indoor air quality assessment for people to sign up for in addition to education about indoor air quality.

The Austin Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on youth fitness. Stop by for a circuit training session!

Brain Injury Association of WA (BIAWA)
501c3 non-profit offering I & R direct support services education advocacy The BIAWA will provide free materials and education about brain injury awareness and prevention.

Day health care centers for adults with disabilities and illnesses. Full Life Care will provide free information about exercise programs for the elderly and disabled.

The Mary Mahoney Professional Nurses Organization awards scholarships for African Americans pursuing nursing. They will be performing blood pressure screenings in conjunction with Paul Gray's Barber Lounge.



National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Northwest Chapter
A non-profit organization that inspires and empowers and educates those affected by MS. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will provide free educational materials about MS and giveaways.





Northwest Burn Foundation
The Northwest Burn Foundation works to prevent burns and improve quality of life for burn survivors. The Northwest Burn Foundation will be providing materials for children and parents including coloring activities scald prevention kits and safety tips.


Paul Gray's Barber Lounge
This neighborhood barbershop will be giving free haircuts! They will also be performing blood pressure screenings in conjunction with The Mary McHenry Professional Nurses Organization.


Public Health, Seattle & King County
A county government organization helping clients reduce health disparities, Public Health, Seattle and King County will educate the public on how to brush teeth, and detect breast and colon cancer. They will also provide healthy recipes.


Regence Medicare Plans

Sea Mar provides health and human services to underserved populations. Sea Mar will provide free blood pressure, cholesterol, Blood/glucose and dental screenings in addition to free educational materials about immunization schedules, mammogram guidelines, managed care, senior I&A and long term care.


Seattle Children's Hospital
The Seattle Children's Hospital Sports Medicine Department focuses on providing complete and expert care to get young athletes back in the game. Stop by to hop, balance, jump, and go through ladder drills as you participate in an obstacle course, and get a prize for doing it! They will also provide informational handouts and flyers about Seattle Children's Sports Medicine program and ways to prevent sports injuries.

The Seattle Fire department will be showing off one of their trucks from 10:00am - 11:00am at the fair!

Washington State Chiropractic Association
The Washington State Chiropractic Association will provide chiropractic consultations and free evaluations of structural vs. functional postural imbalances. Doctors will check for the difference in weight between the right and left sides of the body, focusing on how the length of the legs compare and the horizontal alignment of the hips and shoulders plus the vertical alignment of the spine and head.



Washington State Department of Health STD Services
The Washington State Department of Health STD Services supports STD prevention and control in Washington State. The Washington State Department of Health STD Services will provide free condoms and STD education.


Washington State Dietetic Association
Registered dietitians will interact with attendees, assisting them with the "Think Your Drink" activity, answering health and nutrition questions and providing resources for helping kids achieve a healthy weight and activity level.
